home for now

Well, here it is - Built in 1903 and still standing (today anyway).

Three stories of memories, and plaster and horsehair, and plenty of dust... This is the house i spent some of my growing up years in. Mom and Dad are living about 45 minutes away, and are letting us stay in the old homestead. We've been busy getting it somewhat ready to move into.
Mud and tape in the kitchen...and some organizing

Nothing much yet in the dining and living rooms...
Here, Phil is hard at work in the bathroom, getting it ready for me to paint...

Aaaaaand in the meantime, we're house and dog sitting for friends. Here is one of my most favorite pictures of all time.....taken this evening, as Phil begins to face some fears. Max is in LOVE with Phil, and follows him everywhere (much to Phil's anxiety). She gets so excited when he walks through the door, and loves to sit with him as he tries desperately to relax.

Hey guys! Glad to see you made it from PA to MA. We miss seeing you around, and I love the home you're in! Lots of history! I laughed at the picture of Phil and puppy. Take Care!

Careful, Phil! They like to attack when you're nice and reraxed.

Hi Phil and Shelley! I like the house, that is so cool that you have childhood memories there.
Is Jayne trying to talk like Scooby Doo? reraxed?
