We got home safe and sound this evening from our 10 day journey to Borneo and back!

The first night of our trip was spent in Yogyakarta at a fun hotel. Nadia had a blast peeking in all the new cabinets and closets. We thought she looked so old in this photo...

She shut herself in this little cabinet and started singing to herself. It was so adorable.

Here is where we waited for our flight from Java.

Our flight was late - No one knows why, and most people here don't care - so the airport doesn't bother letting anyone know. You find out when an hour comes and goes past your departure time, and there is still no plane ready to board. We sat and waited for an hour and a half PAST our departure time. When we finally boarded the plane, the captain announced their abbreviated apologies, without an explanation. We figure they must think that if they don't address the reality of their extreme late-ness, no one will really notice or get upset. We didn't have anything better to do this time, so we were able to sit and wait and accept it as normal for here. Nadia even scored a nap - so she had plenty of energy for the flight...
