High Chairs are for Sissies

Our big 20 month old baby sits at the table like a big girl. She loves it. No booster seat or anything - just a couch pillow wrapped in a rain coat. :0)

Sunday night is Pancake Night at our house.

My favorite Pancake recipe:

2 cups flour

1/2 cup cornmeal (when available)

1/4 cup sugar

2 Tblsp Baking Powder

1 Tsp Baking Soda

1 Tsp Salt

1 Tsp Vanilla

2 eggs, beaten

1 1/2 cups buttermilk (1 1/2 cups milk and 1 Tblsp vinegar)

1/4 cup butter, melted
