trip post 4

After a few days interior, we came back to town and spent the rest of our time in Borneo meeting with co-workers and leadership couples living there. We also made time for some fun.

We went to the local pool, which just so happens to be awesome. There were at least 3 slides and at least 4 pools (including an Olympic sized lap pool). Nadia asked to go on a slide, so we thought we'd give it a try. She was hooked.

At the bottom, we'd always go under just a little bit, and every time, we thought she'd be upset and ready to quit. Quite the contrary. She would sputter and gasp... and then say, "Again? Lagi? Again?"

Up and down we went for over two hours. She tried out all the slides... several times each.

By the time we left at noon, she seemed to feel that she owned the place :0) Look at that strut.
