this week - a little bit of everything

Took a trip a little ways up the mountain to a pretty pool. Notice my new Nike bathing suit? $3 at a little import shop (funny thing... Nike is not imported into Indonesia... it's exported).

Nadia was watching Pak Suki clean a wall (he's scraping the moss off with a small metal tool). She decided she would help. She found a bottle cap and got to work.

Also, we've discovered that her new odd obsession is jamming dirt into her belly button. Weird.

Just like back at home, June on Java means lots of weddings. We had one to attend yesterday, and will have another next weekend. (Look how tall that baby of ours is getting!)

And today is the 4th of July. In honor of our "motherland" I've attempted an apple pie :0) We'll see how it tastes...
