These two little dollies are only 1 day apart in age. They are somehow mysteriously nearly the same size (which is amazing given that they're both pretty tall for their age).

 Speaking of being tall for their age, we have no idea how tall our Baby Bison is - but we do know how much he weighs. As of last week he weighs 23 pounds. That's a whole lotta baby. (he's 7 months old now).

Getting ready to go back interior. Here N stands next to our groceries for the next 10 weeks. Ever wonder what 10 weeks of groceries looks like? Well, for our family it looks a lot like that pile up there. Here is a quick list, for those of you who are wondering:

5 boxes of baby formula, 900gr each (already have 5 interior)

2 kilos peanuts

2 kilos cashews

1 kilo black rice

4 boxes powdered milk (already have some interior)

1 extra large can bug spray

unexpected long stay

Well - so, a planned 10 day break out to town has turned (through a complicated, unavoidable string of events) into an unplanned 3 week marathon of oddball work, meetings and undeserved rest. We've not taken too many photos simply because there is not too much to document these days. Here are the exceptions.

The giant help of the century. Jason and Jonie Mellinger came from the U.S. to help some of us "technologically challenged" people here in Indonesia. It took him a few days, but he did major surgery on our (team) Land Cruiser (which i still insist on calling "The Jeep"). Here Paul, Phil and I offer our expertise on the situation. Notice how Jason has earbuds in and is successfully tuning us all out. Wise man. Thank you, Jason and Jonie!!!!

Whatever it was, it was not the food. The food was not even funny. Candace made so much and such fine food that we nearly needed to be rolled out of her home. Thank you, Candace and Patrick! What a happy flash back to my Chinese childhood.

Not sure exactly when we'll be able to get back on the road again and get to our interior home, but we are hoping it will be within the next few days.
