yeah, so it's been awhile

So...it's taken awhile to update this crazy thing - yeah, yeah - I've got people all over the place, that i never hear from, getting in touch with me only to say "Do you know it's been 10 days since you updated your blog?!?!" thank you so much. well, here. are you happy now?

Phil and Edwin "enjoying" the New England Patriots vs. the Chicago Bears yesterday afternoon
i remain hopelessly confused about football - and i won't deny it - so i rooted for the Red Sox...and wondered why they were all wearing helmets.
New England won, for those of you who hadn't heard, and as a result i think Edwin's arms are permenently stuck in the "touchdown" position.

learning language

Jenn and I are enjoying our new friend Imelda - We are learning Indonesian, and are amazed at how much fun it has been! We have 6 more weeks of daily language sessions, and then a few days of classes before Christmas break - Whew!
Imelda and I eating fake Chinese here in town...the visit was nice anyway.

fall past

Autumn here in Missouri has not been quite like my hometown New English foliage display. So, instead of taking pictures of what it's been like here the past few weeks, i've decided to show off my husband's photography from years past when in places where the colors were truly stunning. Some are from Chicago and some are from Pennsylvania - none from my Massachusetts, but these are just as beautiful! Enjoy :0)
